Kauhajoki, a thriving town set in unspoilt countryside

Kauhajoki is situated in the extreme south of Ostrobothnia, on the border of the region of Satakunta. With its dynamic and thriving business community, Kauhajoki is the second largest town in the Province of Western Finland in terms of land area.

Kauhajoki has a wide range of training and educational institutes offering general, vocational and tertiary education. Kauhajoki’s convenient location has made it the commercial centre for the bilingual subregion of Suupohja where both Finnish and Swedish are everyday languages. Kauhajoki offers a full range of public services.
